As Christmas season approaches, Grace Baptist will be participating with\u00a0Operation Christmas Child as a regional drop off location! Churches and agencies from the area that are participating in Operation Christmas Child’s shoeboxes will be able to drop off their collected boxes at Grace for shipping.\u00a0Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan\u2019s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization headed by Franklin Graham. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God\u2019s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 135 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 150 countries and territories. For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.<\/p>\n

Grace will be accepting donations during the week of November 15-22, and will also serve as a drop-off location for other collection sites.<\/p>\n
