At Grace, we are on a growth journey together of becoming more like Jesus. We want to be part of a movement of growing and maturing Jesus followers in our community, nation, and around the world that not only helps us become better followers of Jesus, but teaches us how to help others. This isn’t just about making disciples of Jesus, but making disciple makers. Starting on November 20, we will be taking the next step along that path, and want you to come along with us as we begin a Timothy Initiative Training Center.
The Expected outcomes of the training center are…
- Every disciple maker will experience a Spirit-filled life.
- Every disciple maker will regularly share their story of how Jesus changed their life with people where they live, work, study, shop, and play.
- Every disciple maker will make disciples by regularly sharing God’s story where they live, work, study, shop, and play.
- Every disciple maker will grow in their security and understanding of their identity in Christ and the practical implications of that.
- Every disciple maker will experience a healthy prayer life directed by the Holy Spirit and God’s Word.
- Every disciple maker will faithfully read and study God’s Word to better discern His voice and have the courage to obey whatever God says.
- Every disciple maker will set aside time every day to spend with God that includes the reading of His Word, prayer, and responding in obedience.
- Every disciple maker will gather a group of new believers or “pre-Christians” to lead them through a Discovery Bible Study so they can begin to read God’s Word, hear His voice, and respond in obedience.
- Every disciple maker will make decisions and choices informed by a biblical understanding of who God is and what He is like.Every disciple maker will become an active participant in a local body of believers who are committed to the purposes of Christ and His Church.
