Pastor Dan is a third-generation missionary and fourth-generation pastor. His grandparents served as missionaries in Tanzania, Africa, and his parents served as missionaries in the Dominican Republic, where he grew up.  He has served in ministry as a pastor and missionary for over 20 years.  He and his wife Barbara have two adult children, Natalia and Noah.

Upon the Woodring’s return from missionary service in the Dominican Republic, Dan became the International Director of The Way of Truth Baptist Mission.  WOTBM serves over seventy national missionaries and church planters in Africa, India, Dominican Republic, and Argentina.

Pastor Dan serves in a dual role as Pastor of GBC and International director of WOTBM.

In 1973 Paula knew she wanted to serve the Lord somehow in a secretarial position. Twenty-Seven years later, in 2000, Grace Baptist Church decided that there was need for a secretary. The Lord blessed and honored Paula by allowing her to be the first secretary for Grace Baptist Church. She describes her job as the “the only job she will ever love to cry at”. With a great variety of duties, no day has ever been the same. It is a blessing to be able to serve the Lord.
